The Intensive Spanish Language Courses at the Colegio de España will allow you to start learning or improve your knowledge of Spanish language in a quick and efficient way.
During these courses all aspects of the Spanish Language are dealt with according to your level: oral and written comprehension and expression, grammar, vocabulary, etc.
Taking any of the intensive Spanish courses, you will learn to interact in real situations of daily life as of from your first day of class.

OPTION 1
Characteristics of the Intensive Course
Do you want to learn Spanish in a quick and efficient way in the best atmosphere?
Our Intensive Spanish Language Course is one of the most popular ones for those who wish to start learning or widen their knowledge of Spanish language in a quick and efficient way.
During the Intensive Spanish Language Course, all aspects of the language are dealt with: written and oral comprehension, expression and interaction, vocabulary expansion without forgetting the Spanish grammar.
During our classes you will learn to dominate and control real life situations, which you will be able to use during daily life, using the Spanish language as a communication tool.
Information on the Intensive Course
Start of the course: every Monday.
* The Colegio recommends Beginner Students (Level A1) to start classes during the first week of each course.
Flexible duration: 1, 2, 3, 4 or more weeks. The courses taking place in January, April and July have 5 weeks of classes.
Levels: all levels (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2).
Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, from 9.00a.m. to 1.00p.m.(4 daily sessions).
Weekly sessions: 20 sessions.
Small groups: 7-8 students per class (maximum 12).
Material: included in the course (except books).
Validation of university credits granted by the Pontifical University of Salamanca
To obtain university credits granted by the Pontifical University of Salamanca, you should take at least 3 weeks of course (60 sessions = 6 credits). The university credits have an additional cost and are not included in the price of the course.
Certification of the course
After finishing your course, you will receive an Attendance Certificate. If you prefer, you can get a Study Certificate after having passed the corresponding evaluation tests.
The school recommends Beginner Students (Level A1) to start classes during the first week of each course.
Public Holidays (will not be recuperated): 1st and 6th January; 17th, 18th and 23rd April; 1st May; 12th June; 15th August; 8th September; 13th October; 8th December.
The school will be closed from 22nd December 2025 and will open again on 5th January 2026.
OPTION 2
Characteristics of the Special Intensive Course
Complete your training of Spanish with the most relevant aspects of Spanish and Hispanic American History and Culture
This course has one more sessions than the Intensive Spanish Course dedicated to cultural contents (for level B1 or higher) during which you will widen your knowledge on the most interesting aspects of the traditions and culture of our country and Hispanic America and will allow you to learn more on distinguished writers and artists, famous monuments, our most important festivities, our gastronomy, etc.
For the levels A1 and A2, the Special Intensive Spanish Language Course will be dedicated to oral expression and interaction. During this class, the teacher will reinforce what you have learned practicing conversation through games, interviews, debates, etc. This session is ideal for students to obtain more confidence when expressing themselves and interacting in daily life situations.

Small groups: 7-8 students per class (maximum 12).
